My chosen digital media is Artificial Intelligence and its impacts on our daily life.
2. What’s the goal of this video? Why are you making the video in the first place?
The goal of this video is to produce an informative video about Artificial Intelligence and the importance of AI on different aspects.
3. Who is your intended audience for this video? Who are they? What are their media consumption patterns like? Who or what is influential in their culture subculture? What motivates them (gets them out of bed each morning?)
My target audience is people who are interested in digital technology and attempt to discover the basic of AI.
4. You will need to base your video on at least 1 x academic article. Find an article in the Deakin online library that addresses the theme your crew has selected. You will need to reference it directly with a written or spoken citation in the video! Harvard referencing style please.

7. Next we think about the objective of our video. What is your approach to the topic?
a) expository to describe or explain a topic
b) analytical to break down a topic into parts, and then exploring the relationships between each part
The video consists three parts: the introduction, the body and the conclusion. The video follows a basic sequence of an introductory video.
c) persuasive to change or reform attitudes, opinions, behaviors, values, worldview through voluntary compliance
The main goal of this video is to provide an introductory video on AI and to reform viewers’ attitudes that AI is becoming a part of our life and will become more powerful in the future to the fact that it might take up human resources.

To provide a definition of AI, its pros and cons and its influence on many situations in many different aspects (economy, political, education).
9. What’s your call-to-action? What do we want your viewers to do after they’ve finished watching the video? To support a cause, to click on a link, to watch another video, to read a book, etc.
To raise awareness on the effects of AI.
REFLECTION:
To produce a qualified product for the second assignment of “Making Video” class, students were asked to produce a video with a variety of options on the topic. The topic was chosen is “Artificial Intelligence”.
To be more specific, the content breaks down into three parts:
The first part is the definition of Artificial Intelligence. Secondly, how Artificial Intelligence has a huge impact on our life and thirdly it is the advantages and disadvantages of Artificial Intelligence.
Before starting to film and editing the video, I start with a detailed plan on what needed to be done such as: a list of things that need to be done, my goals of making the video and a script for the video.
Doing research on many resources, there is one that I found useful to meet the requirement of using at least one academic resource and providing a further insight not only the benefits of AI but also the danger, the e-book is titled Artificial Intelligence: Rise of the Lightspeed Learners by Jennings C.
To be more visually detailed, I made a story boards describe how I want the video to be produced.
Then write a script base on the resource that I have mentioned above.
After doing the paper works, I start recording myself reading the script using the recorder of my phone.
I use a software called Premiere Pro to edit because I found this software is suitable for both beginners and experts with lots of technique to help produce a video.
The music I use in the video named ‘Pretend’ by CGBeats was under Creative Commons Licenses (CC BY-SA 4.0).

What I have learned?
Through out the process of making this video, I have learned quite a few necessary information about AI that I have not acknowledged before and learned how to use and editing video with Premiere Pro.
